As I promised in one of my previous posts, let us discuss the houses, zodiac signs and planets significance. To know all these may be important not only when you want to predict someone’s appearance but even when wanting to know about one’s health condition.
Houses + zodiac signs = body parts
If you had ever read horoscope in magazines or even online you probably have noticed that it starts with Aries as first zodiac sign and Pisces as the last one. The rule is same when it comes to houses in astrology even if you have a different zodiac sign at the cusp of your ascendant, meaning if you for example have Taurus rising in the 1st house it will still represent the head and overall appearance of a person, only the expression will be based on the Venus energy which rules Taurus and Libra zodiac sign. Next the position of Venus would tell us more about your apperance or which changes your body would go through.
As you can see, this is a list of some of the body parts. The list does not take up all the area of the topic, but at least you would have a clue about the division of the body parts in accordance to the houses, zodiac signs and planets. Let’s say you have Sagittarius in the 5th house and the lord of 5th house Jupiter is in 3rd house in Libra. We would first look at the house significance, then zodiac sign and the lord of the house. So more specifically it would mean that this individual would share love for travel and learning as Leo energy is still in the 5th house. When it comes to the appearance as Jupiter is in Libra and Sagittarius rules the body parts thighs and legs, the native could have bigger thighs than average but still somehow balanced compared to others. The native could have a graceful pair of legs in other words. As Libra is about trying to maintaine balance, the legs and thighs would get affected by weight gain. It does not mean that the native will be obese but sometimes we can see for example women from South America or Africa having bigger thighs and slim waist, thats due to the reason the weight is sitting in those body parts more than the others.
Planets and color effect on them
In Vedic astrology we often hear about getting remedies to weaken of strengthen a planet. Having the knowledge about colors and its relation to the planets can be quite helpful. For example if you have green, yellow or reddish colors or any clutter in the west side of your home, your Saturn may give you negative results in the areas it rules in your horoscope. I for example get extremely frustrated nowadays because there is a lot of disturbing objects (toys) around my home. It affects my studying ability because I cannot focus. Once I clean the mess that’s been disturbing me, that’s when my brain is ready to memorize things and I can start hearing my own thoughts.
But it’s not only about avoiding certain colors or objects. It’s about knowing what is beneficial for our luck. It can get quite challenging when there are more members in the family annd each has different aspects in their horoscopes. The best way to handle it is by choosing the right colors for your shoes, belts and clothes. This way the focus will stay on you. For that you will need to know about your ascedant lord placement, nakshatra and its lord and the moon nakshatra as well. Like for example some people get lucky by wearing white hat or they get more work opportunities when wearing a green belt around their waist. That’s why for a good remedy, you have to find the right solution based on your own horoscope.
Hope you enjoyed reading todays post and I will update you more the next time!
It’s been a while since I wrote anything on the topic of astrology but well… you even stagnate while learning sometimes. In the recent month’s I’ve taken more interest in Varshphal. That is yearly horoscope or differently called solar return. And so I dig a little and found out that every planet has an maturity age and by the end when they reach maturity some events connected to these planets will take place. But before I jump into analysis of my birth chart let me tell you when each planet matures.
Jupiter matures at the age of 16. It is believed that at that time humans have already created a set of principles and a belief system which they follow through out life. As Jupiter represents wisdom as in education , husband for a girl and children as well as religion and travel, some events connected to the significance of Jupiter will take place between the age of 15 and 16.
Sun matures at the age of 21. As it stands for authority, recognition and career between 20 and 21 we should be able to choose our career path. We could get our first job or be rewarded for something we did. As Sun stands for father too, something related to your father could take place.
Moon matures by the age of 24. By that time one should have gained mental stability and show signs of a mature mind. Moon stands for mind, home, mother, family, nourishment thus something connected to these should take place. Maybe you will purchase your first apartment? For that you will need to check planet placement in your birth chart.
Venus matures at the age of 25. Between 24 and 25 we could meet our partner or we could have a lesson about love and relationships. By that time we should be mature enough to lead a one to one relationship.
Mars matures at the age of 28, which means that between the age of 27 and 28 you will take action towards something or the opposite, you may lose courage, depending on house placement and planets surrounding mars. By the age of 28 we should have grown enough to understand how we can control our anger and how to use the energy for our benefit.
Mercury matures at the age of 32. As it’s a planet of communication and business by that time something related to our communication like planning , organising , leadership may take place but does not have to. It could be related to writing as Mercury ruled Gemini represents hands or something analytical as Mercury is ruling the sign of Virgo as well. If you are a scientist, it could mean that you will reach a new level when it comes to your career or you could get a reward or a degree . As with the other planets, placement such as house, planets sitting around Mercury and lord placement of that house should be checked for getting a clear idea about the event that will take place between 31 and 32. As Mercury stands for siblings too, something related to your younger siblings could take place.
Saturn matures at the age of 36. As it’s about responsibility and duty in our life, an event that will will happen by the age of 35 and 36 will require greater maturity and the willingness to serve our karma. By that time we will be aware of our duties and responsibilities towards others.
Rahu matures at the age of 42. By that time Rahu loses its strength and a person is able to let go of their illusions and become aware of the fact that money is not all the happiness in the world.
Ketu matures at the age of 48. By the age of 47 and 48 one should know their spiritual path and come to a realisation that clinging into people or things does not serve any purpose. It could be a time when one gets detached from the world.
So finally 😂 let me tell you what happened to me. And you can practice using my birth chart.
Between age of 15 and 16, I’ve decided to study textile design in high school and I’ve got an award for my achievements at school.
Between age of 20 and 21, many things happened. I had to grow up and master the courage to save my relationship and so my kids dad came to Sweden and we moved to another place. I’ve also decided that I want to pursue a career where I can be creative and give service.
Between the age of 23 and 24, I’ve pursued higher education at university. I’ve also became a mother during that time and had to learn to handle the pressure of home and school and all the criticism that I’ve gotten from my classmates for having children.
Between the age of 24 and 25, it’s said in 2018/2019, I’ve gone through a transformation and I’ve got a few lessons connected to marriage and relationships. I’ve started also to gain more knowledge about astrology. For me that was a big boom 💥. I felt like I was floating in the air. Everything I knew felt so unrealistic. I’ve decided to divorce during that time as well and I made it before my 26th birthday.
Between 27 and 28 I’ve actually remarried. Why? Karma is a bitch 😅 and I guess divorcees with kids are hot. Mars is in 7th house and 7th lord is in 7th house too. Mercury which also resides in in 7th house stands for contracts/written agreements and so I did nikah at the court.
I am 28 right now + 3 months 😂 . And I am super excited for what Mercury will give me at 32. But as Mercury is in 7th house I hope next step will be business, not a divorce. I am not so sure though when it comes to the events connected to Saturn at 36. At 42, I suspect my mother will get sick or I will have a big argument with my husband. At 48 I suspect Ketu will either give me a good position at work or will make me away from everything that has to do with materiality. There could be something related to death too.
Wow! It’s been so refreshing sharing something new with you. Soon I’m gonna start my own channel on YouTube where you will be able to discover yourself a new together with me 🌟.
If you do not know the meanings of the planets that signify the Atmakaraka, Amatyakaraka and even Darakaraka please follow the article below.
For those that have already followed my writing for quite some time it will be a little of repetition.
So as the title of this post states, there are two planets in our horoscopes that hold the highest degrees. The planet which holds the highest degree is called Atmakaraka. It signifies the souls desire. Many people, even those that tend to say that they are religious are forgetting why we are here. We are not here to live a happy ever after kind of story life but rather to grow as humans and fulfill our purpose before we die. Everything is about paying debts so that we can reach the paradise and reside beside God or in other terms be able to rest in peace, without being thrown in the circle of re-birth ever again. And Atmakaraka is the planet which tells us about the desire our soul has for this life.
Then we have a planet with the 2nd highest degree called Amatyakaraka which gives us some details on how we can fulfill the souls desire.
Knowing the meaning of the planet is a first step, then we need to look at the position like house, sign, nakshatra and it’s lords and aspects. Sometimes we need to dig even deeper than just checking the Lagna aka birth chart by looking at the same placements of our Atmakaraka and Amatyakaraka in divisional charts like Navamsha aka D9 and Dasamsha aka D10 for more information.
I’m thinking of visualizing a little the scenario of making a prediction about one’s path in life by the use of my chart before I give you more specifics of Atmakaraka and Amatyakaraka in houses and divisional charts.
Atmakaraka inbirth chart & divisional chart
So if you have read the post at the beginning of this post you will know by now the meanings of planets and that I am having Jupiter as my Atmakaraka in 3rd house in Libra sign aspected by Moon in 9th house in Aries sign in my birth chart. Then Jupiter is in 12th house in Aries sign in my Navamsha chart and 8th house in Aries in my Dasamsha chart conjunct Venus.
But this is not all. We need to look at the Nakshatras and lords as well.
Jupiter is in Vishakha nakshatra in birth chart and the lord of 3rd house Venus is in Pisces sign in 8th house conjunct Sun. Venus is in Uttarabhandrapada nakshatra while Sun is in Poorvabhandrapada nakshatra. 8th house lord Jupiter sits in 3rd house. 3rd house of communication, writing, media, siblings and neighbours exchanges energy with the 8th house of mysteries, debt, sex, death, occult sciences, taboo topics, transformation and ups and downs in life like sudden gains, inheritances. Moreover, Jupiter owns the 5th and 8th house. In that sense even 5th house of ancient scripts, education, children, fun, creativity, romance, stocks is connected.
Uttarabhandra nakshatra is ruled by Saturn, while Porvabhandra nakshatra is ruled by Jupiter. We already know about Jupiters connection. Saturn is sitting in 7th house in the sign of Aquarius which he rules, and is conjunct with Mars and Mercury. Aquarius is the sign of gains, friends, networking, innovation.
Venus in Uttarabhandra nakshatra in its 4th pada ruled by Mars, while Sun in Poorvabhandra is in its 4th pada ruled by Moon.
Then let’s see Navamsha. Venus is in 7th house in Scorpio together with Mercury and 7th house lord Mars is together with Ketu in the sign of Aquarius in 10th house which indicates fame, career, government, dharma. 10th house lord Saturn is thereby in 9th house of higher studies, publishing, blogs, religion, philosophy, foreign travel in Capricorn sign and aspects Moon in 5th house in Virgo. On the other hand, Sun is in Cancer sign and sends its energy over to the 5th house.
Why I mention it ? Because if 3rd house is writing and communication, its lord goes to the 5th house of education and ancient scripts and is aspected by the Saturn in Navamsha chart which stands for old and wise and the 9th house is about everything that is foreign, higher learning, philosphy and publishing then I am entering the gate to fulfilling my souls desire by being here with you with Shades of me as my channel.
My atmakaraka Jupiter is in 12th house ruled by Mars in my Navamsha chart. And as I said already Mars is in Aquarius together with Ketu. Ketu is about moksha but it represents computers and small mobile devices as well. And 12th house is about imagination, spirituality, moksha, foreign lands. Which means that I will have you from all over the world as my guest. Because its will be a part of my job to communicate with you about ancient knowledge, higher learning, creativity, travel, foreign languages with you in a creative and analytical way like I am doing at this moment.
Amatyakaraka in birth chart & divisional chart
Then let’s see about Amatyakaraka. As mentioned above Moon is my Amatyakaraka. You already know that it’s sitting in 9th house in Aries in my birth chart. The nakshatra is Bharani. 9th house lord Mars is sitting in 7th house in Aquarius in Dhanistha nakshatra. I wil not dicuss much about padas here as the navamsha explanation pictures it very well.
Then you know that in my Navamsha chart the Moon is in 5th house in Virgo and that Mercury which rules Virgo is in Scorpio together with Venus as well as how its connected to the other positions.
Then thinking of Amatyakaraka position in Dasamsha chart, it is in Libra sign in 3rd house aspected by Saturn in 9th house in sign of Taurus. While the 9th house lord Venus is in 8th house conjunct Jupiter in Aries sign.
I do not think it gives too much confusion. Knowledge and sharing it through the technologies and social media we have, will be very important for my soul. As my Atmakaraka is in 12th house in Navamsha, I will not be the person to take a podium and speak to thousands of people. I will do it in isolation. You could say that only the chosen one will be able to meet me and hear me speak and be able to read my articles or see the videos I will be making. My soul desires to learn and teach in writing and by creativity as well as there is an scientifical aspect to it all.
With that I think its time for you to learn about your lives purpose…and what does your soul desire…
