Midsummer in Sweden

Hello my dear readers!

I’ve been quite busy these past few days. I´ve been actually working at the kindergarten in Lindigö, Sweden – the island of the rich 😂. Then the weekend has been divided between doing school assignments, doing house chores but I even had the chance to grill at my brothers place and I think this was the first party without any alcohol involved which I really enjoyed.

So what was the occasion ? Well, the very known holiday in Sweden where the day is longer than the night – Midsummer.

What do we do except having grill party’s ? We can dance around a huge cross decorated with flowers or enjoy strawberry and rhubarb cake. Many cities organize festivals where you can enjoy folk music.

Summer is the best time for Swedes as they can connect with nature on another level, making the Midsummer preparations more joyous than Christmas. If you ever would like to take part in this magical celebration you must visit Sweden between 24-25th June.

Thank you for reading and I will see you soon with a new post !

Rahu transit in Aries & how it can affect my life

Hello 👋

It’s been a while and I missed you all dearly. Yes, today’s post is about the 18 month long transit of Rahu through the sign of Aries. For those that do not remember Rahu and Ketu (aka south & north node) are always going retrograde. Western astrology does not give much importance to these two but Vedic astrology does. And so I thought of discussing with you the effects Rahu can bring into someone’s life while transiting through the sign of Aries. I am going to make a prediction based on my lagna chart, navamsha and dasamsha.

In lagna chart, Aries is in my 9th house occupied by moon and mars which is ruling Aries sits in 7th house with Saturn and Mercury in the sign of Aquarius.

In navamsha, Aries is in the 12th house occupied by Jupiter and it’s lord Mars is in 10th house in the sign of Aquarius with Ketu.

In dasamsha, Aries is in the 8th house and it’s lord Mars is in 10th house in the sign of Gemini.

So what happens when Rahu goes through 8th, 9th and 12th house in all the mentioned charts?

First of all Rahu is an outcast, foreigner, illusion, mystery. Rahu is always hungry, for what depends on house and sign placement. But as we talk about Aries sign and 8,9 and 12th house and Mars stands for action, aggression, courage and passion, Rahu will be hungry for knowledge and solving mysteries.

As I applied to join KTH in Stockholm from Autumn 2022, to do my masters there I could guess myself to that the next two years will be about hardcore studies as it’s about engineering, innovation, things which I’ve never deepened myself in.

The 2nd thing that I may have strong urges for as Rahu will transit my 12th house in Navamsha and 9th house in Lagna chart is that many foreign trips will take place. Additionally, I have two benefic planets connected to family and children , Moon and Jupiter which could indicate that I may get pregnant during that time especially when 12th house stands for bed pleasures as well. I could be reading more books in the genres of astrology, criminal psychology, see ghosts or have prophetic dreams. Rahu stands for exotic places as well and moon stands for home, with these two conjunct in 9th house I could be visiting a exotic place or even move to one for some time.

The bad side of the Rahu transit could be that I will get sick, either through receiving a shock and coping with it through daydreaming or strong drugs but as Ketu would be in 2nd, 3rd or 6th house in the sign of Libra I don’t think that the possibility of it coming true is that much high.

The desire to be independent will be strong. As Rahu will be transiting my 9th house in Lagna chart, Ketu will transit my 3rd house. While conjunct Jupiter in my natal horoscope it may give me a result of foreign pilgrimage or some kind of participation in occult practices. My relationship with my siblings could be spiritual or it could get distant.

Rahu influence will be strong especially from July 2022 when it’s my Rahu Antardasha in Mars Mahadasha.

I’m looking forward to be in the future 😁✌️

Thank you for reading & See you soon!

Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui – Love is above gender identity

Yesterday, I’ve watched a really interesting romantic drama on Netflix. I actually loved the plot. The story takes place in India, there a male bodybuilder and a female zumba teacher work together at a gym. The bodybuilders dream is to win a competition and be the new champion while the zumba teacher dreams of a place that she can call home. They fall in love but there is a twist to the story because the zumba teacher was actually born as a boy. Once finding out about that the bodybuilder is feeling panicked and turns into a coward for a while but then he cannot ignore his feelings that are still there for the zumba teacher so he decides to approach her identity by researching about transgender and even visiting the psychologist where he is able to see things more clearly and accept his feelings for the zumba teacher. But their love is not supported by the family of the bodybuilder and the family of the zumba teacher did not come to terms with the gender transition either. In other terms, its a great a story of acceptance, love, friendship, looking beyond what is in front of our eyes.

Why am I taking it up? Because it feels so unique for a country with twisted perspective on sexuallity to actually make a movie about transsexuality and even send a message with it. We already know how it is to judge people but do we know how they feel? This movie gives a clear message, that there is nothing wrong with being different and that we cannot judge someone for not being able to be happy in their body. A transgender person is still a person. There is nothing digusting with it. Not everyone treat gender operations as a fetish. Some really do not feel like they are a woman or a man and we have to accept it and even though we may have other opinions about it we should not hurt other people.

To summarize the message of it all:

Love is beyond our identity. You either feel it or not. A person that feels for a transgender should not feel like it is backed into a corner. Same way with a transgender individual. Love should be a free choice. Traumatizing our differences in my eyes is the biggest crime in the minority of societies.

Thank you for reading & have a pleasant Monday!
